Patrick Watson - Beijing (live)
I am in Beijing now and this song has been in my head since I woke up. Listen to the first line of the song and you will understand. I love this city.
One of the best aspects of this song is the percussion. In the album version, Patrick Watson plays a bicycle, drumming on different parts of the bike for different sounds. While there are no bike parts used in the making of this video, I love watching his drummer use an assortment of stuff from the kitchen as instruments. It is almost as interesting than the weird expressions that stretch across Watson's face when he sings.
